Kear IT Acquires IT Service Provider Certified CIO
Acquisition strengthens Managed IT Services, management team and expands client base.
 
BALTIMORE, Md., February 9, 2009 -- Kear IT, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise-class IT consulting services for small-to medium-sized businesses, announced today it has purchased IT services provider Certified CIO, LLC.  Headquartered in Hanover, Pa., and with clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, Certified CIO brings to Kear IT an expanded client base and enhances the company’s managed IT service capabilities.
 
For customers and partners of both companies, the transition is expected to be seamless. Certified CIO's business operations, employees, and clients will be integrated into Kear IT and operate as Kear IT going forward. Following closing, Kear IT will have more than 150 customers throughout the region, including Maryland State Dental Association, the Center for Non-Profit Advancement, and Sagal, Cassin, Filbert & Quasney, P.A.
