Kear IT Expands Management Team with new VP of Operations

BALTIMORE, MD., June 1, 2009 -- Kear IT, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise class IT consulting services for small-to-medium sized businesses, announced today an important addition to its management team and named Jeffrey A. Newman as Vice President of Operations.

For the past five years, Jeff served as the Controller and then Vice President of Finance and Administration for a large Baltimore based Environmental Consulting and Real estate Due Diligence firm. As the Vice President of Finance and Administration, he was responsible for the oversight of all of the Accounting, Human Resources, IT and Administrative functions of the company.
 
Prior to his move into the Corporate Accounting arena, Jeff spent four years in a regional Public Accounting firm located in Towson. In his tenure as a public accountant, Jeff was involved with all facets of corporate and personal accounting with a focus on and passion for business consulting.
 
In addition to an entrepreneurial spirit and drive to succeed in business, Jeff is dedicated to several non-profit organizations. For the past four years he has served on the board of directors of The Perry Hall Children’s Center and the Todd Newman Academic Excellence Scholarship Foundation.
 
Jeff received his Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Towson University and is a CPA licensed in Maryland.
